Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Sakay account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data โ as required by the Google Play and Apple App Store policies.
Delete from the app (fastest)
- Open the Sakay app and go to Profile.
- Tap Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and removed after processing.
Request by email
No longer have the app installed? Email orbitsdev00@gmail.com from the address or with the mobile number on your account and the subject line "Delete my account". We verify ownership before processing, typically within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email, mobile number, date of birth, gender, and profile photo.
- Saved places, emergency contacts, device/push tokens, and login sessions.
- For drivers: uploaded onboarding documents and vehicle photos.
What we may retain
For legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and safety reasons we retain certain records in anonymized form, no longer linked to you personally:
- Completed-trip and receipt records, and wallet/payment ledger entries.
- Safety or incident reports where required.
Anonymized records cannot be used to identify or contact you.
